It's come with a flurry of recent activities, the decision now to close down this old account and to put behind me my Telaka allies. It's not such a sad thing as it is a fond farewell to everything good, bad and ugly, everything creative and practical and emotional that's brought me to this point: Where I feel I'm ready to take on a new identity with my art and my career. I'm a qualified animator; I'm a practicing illustrator; I even make and sell comics now.  I plan to travel, to gain experience wherever I can and to create an ongoing trail of work stamped with a new and altogether much better mark of quality, style and passion. At least, it's been about that long since I've paid serious attention to this old account.  Last time I bothered on deviant with a journal I was heading to Vancouver to study for four months and I couldn't draw.  Now, I've graduated.  A BA Hons in Animation.  I'm sending my grad film out to festivals and I've changed.  I have a different perspective on what it means to work as a creative individual and I have a far more real scope on what it is I want to make in the future.  Comics, short stories, more animations etc. What's posted on my account here nowhere near reflects how I think and what I can do now.  Partly due to a lack of digital pr

Well Vancouver first, *then* the world :p So yeah after a month of waiting to hear I was finally told today that I have been accepted to Emily Carr's school of art and design in Vanoucver, Canada for a three month exchange starting the 2nd of September '08!!!!! *dances* I am ridiculous excited, as well as terrified and in awe.  I've been speaking to the guy in the year above me who went last year and looking at some of his photos and listening about the course and... well everything just seems perfect...
